If you have a bag of charcoal lying around waiting to get tossed, don’t toss it. Re-purpose it!

The Green Cheapskate says you can toss a few of the briquettes on the compost pile or if someone sent you flowers, toss them in the water to make them last longer.

It’s also a natural air freshener, so you can put some in an old sock and stick it in smelly pair of shoes.
